Over the years, I have resolved hundreds of criminal cases, often obtaining outright and complete dismissals of charges, probation, minimal fines, or otherwise saving thousands of years of jail time for clients. The results listed below are just a few of the outstanding results that I have been able to obtain for his clients.

Because each case is uniquely different, I cannot guarantee the same result in your case, and past results cannot be used to predict the outcome in your case.  But I am extremely proud of the results I have achieved for my clients in difficult cases over the years, and I look forward to putting the same experience, skill, effort, and expertise that allowed me to obtain these exceptional results towards your behalf in your case.



Client Found Not Guilty at Trial for Murder

Client charged with Murder, Armed Robbery, Conspiracy and Possession of a Weapon During Commission of a Violent Crime. Obtained Not Guilty verdict on all charges at trial despite co-defendant and eye-witness testifying against client and murder weapon being conclusively determined as belonging to client.


Client Found Not Guilty at Trial for Burglary in the First Degree, Kidnapping, Assault, and Grand Larceny

Client charged with Burglary in the First Degree, Kidnapping, Assault and Battery of a High and Aggravated Nature, and Grand Larceny. Victim testified at trial that client invaded her home, held her against her will, assaulted her to the point of needing to be hospitalized for several days, and stole thousands of dollars in jewelry and other items. Because of client’s prior record, client was facing mandatory life in prison without possibility of parole.  Obtained acquittal at jury trial for client of all charges.


Client Found Not Guilty at Trial in Federal Court for Drug Trafficking and Conspiracy

Client was charged in federal drug conspiracy and proceeded to trial with three other co-defendants.  Obtained acquittal at trial.  Client was only one of four on trial who was found not guilty. 


Client Found Not Guilty at Trial for Criminal Sexual Conduct

Client was charged with multiple counts of criminal sexual conduct with a minor. Obtained acquittal at trial on all charges.


Client Found Not Guilty at Trial in Federal Court for Threatening Witnesses

Client was charged with threatening two witnesses in a federal trial. Despite testimony of both alleged witnesses, obtained a not guilty verdict at trial.


Armed Robbery, Carjacking & Kidnapping Charges Dismissed

Client charged with Armed Robbery, Carjacking and Kidnapping after having been picked by alleged victim from photo line-up.  After convincing the prosecutor that the victim lacked sufficient credibility, the prosecutor dismissed all charges.  


Charges of Obtaining Drugs by Fraud Dismissed

Client was charged with 2 counts of attempting to obtain drugs by fraud after presenting false prescription to pharmacist.  After I proved to the prosecutor that my client had been duped by her co-defendant into thinking that the prescription was valid, the prosecutor dismissed all charges. 


Drug Conviction and 10 Year Sentence Overturned

Client, while being represented by another attorney, had pleaded guilty to two counts of Distributing Crack Cocaine and had been sentenced to 10 years in prison. Got convictions and sentence overturned. 


Convictions for Obtaining Drugs by Fraud Overturned

Client, while being represented by another attorney, was convicted at trial of two counts of obtaining prescription drugs by fraud. After convictions were affirmed on direct appeal, client hired Mr. Gibson to try to nevertheless get convictions overturned. Mr. Gibson, after proving that prior counsel was ineffective, got the trial court to overturn both convictions and order a new trial. The State appealed the overturning of the convictions, and Mr. Gibson then successfully convinced the Appellate Court to affirm the lower court ruling and send the case back for a new trial. Finally, once the matters had been remanded back to the trial court for a new trial, Mr. Gibson convinced the prosecutor to dismiss all charges.


Conviction for Assault and Battery with Intent to Kill Overturned

Client, while being represented by another attorney, was convicted at trial of assault and battery with intent to kill. Mr. Gibson was nevertheless able to get the convictions and sentence overturned.


Convictions for Drug Distribution Overturned

Client while represented by another attorney was convicted of various drug distribution counts.  Got convictions and sentence overturned.  


Assault and Battery with Intent to Kill Charge Dismissed

Client was charged with assault and battery with intent to kill and had been advised by previous counsel to plead guilty to charge that could have resulted in client serving 10 years in jail.  After being retained, convinced Prosecutor to dismiss all charges.  


Probation for Client on Drug Trafficking Charges

Client was charged with various drug distribution and trafficking charges. Previous counsel had advised client to accept plea that would have placed client in jail for minimum of three years.  After being retained and upon further investigation of case uncovered evidence that convinced to prosecutor to reduce charges.  Client ultimately pled guilty to the reduced charges and was sentenced to probation and no jail time.


Embezzlement Charges Dismissed

Client had embezzled thousands of dollars from employer.  Convinced solicitor to allow client to resolve charges in manner which resulted in no jail time, criminal conviction or record.  


Forgery Charges Dismissed

Client was charged with numerous forgery charges. Convinced prosecutor to dismiss all charges.


Assault and Battery with Intent to Kill and Unlawful Possession of Firearm Charges Dismissed

Client was charged with Assault & Battery with Intent to Kill and a Firearms charge after he shot his nephew twice.  Got all charges dismissed.  


Armed Robbery Charges Dismissed

Client was charged with Armed Robbery after being apprehended near scene of crime and identified by victim as the assailant. After Mr. Gibson identified various problems with reliability of identification at the Preliminary Hearing, prosecutor dismissed all charges.


Probation for Bank Robber

Client was involved in an armed robbery of a bank. Negotiated a reduction of charges and against the State's objection persuaded the Judge to sentence client to probation. After sentencing hearing and Judge’s decision, court erupted into standing ovation.
